Community Soccer

The Community Soccer Program is for all area youth from 1st through 8th grade.  The purpose of community soccer is to provide and foster organized youth soccer for girls and boys at a fun yet challenging level.  The philosophy of our program is to promote participation, emphasize sportsmanship and develop skills with an appreciation for the game of soccer.

The programming season includes approximately 8 games total - occurring on Saturday mornings or early afternoons.  Teams also get the opportunity to compete in the annual LUFC Community Soccer Tournament.

Community Soccer coaches are all SafeSport certified, and receive support and training from Director of Coaching, Chris Corrao.  All coaches have the opportunity to continue their training with sponsored courses from US Soccer and WYSA, which offers licensing programs from Grassroots through Professional.

Select Soccer

Manitowoc Futbol Club (MFC) offers a higher level of competition in its Select Program for Girls and Boys ages 10 - 18. Playing on a MFC Select team requires a higher level of commitment from both the player and their family.  Each team is coached by a United States Soccer Federation/WI Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) licensed coach and will receive training led by Manitowoc FC's Director of Coaching, Chris Corrao.

All teams may have a team camp in July or August that stresses MFC curriculum, philosophies and team building.

MFC Juniors

MFC Juniors is designed to be a fun, multiple session program held each spring and fall for 4K and 5K players.  One of the main goals of the Juniors Program is to provide a safe, inclusive and structured environment so that our youngest athletes can be encouraged and grow in their first organized soccer experience.

To allow all boys and girls opportunities to dribble, pass, and shoot, players will scrimmage one another in a 2 v 2 or 3 v 3 format with multiple goals.  Thre are no formal teams or rosters.  Players will receive a penny and join a new team as soon as they arrive each week.  Our MFC Juniors staff will oversee the 2 v 2 and 3 v 3 games to help demonstrate, encourage, and guide the athletes as they play.

About halfway though each session, The program leader(s) will bring several groups together for activities that will help introduce soccer skills and allow the player to have opportunity to practice.  These activites are often familiar to children with a fun soccer twist.

Adult Summer Pick-Up Soccer

Adult Pick-up-

The Adult Pick-Up  Soccer Program is for all area adults from 18 on up.  The purpose of this program is to offer a fun, healthy environment to play soccer with old friends, meet new ones and get in shape.

We will have an organizer on-site every week but no refs so this is not a competitive league but true pick-up soccer.  Manitowoc FC will provide pinnies, balls, goals etc for games.

All FIFA rules apply.  3 v 3 to 5 v 5 will not have off-sides.  6 v 6 and up will have off-sides.

Organizer sets teams and field sizes each Sunday.

Depending on player numbers each Sunday, the organizer will set up 3 v 3 , 4 v 4, 7 v 7 or 11 v 11.   The field size may increase as more players arrive.  The great thing is that you never know what to expect, who you will play with or what size of field you will be on.  What you can expect is that you will be sweating every Sunday that you play.

All players must be registered to play, NO EXCEPTIONS.  Once registration is closed after 30 players have registered, the organizer will check the registrant list on game days and if a player is not registered they cannot participate.  This is to make it fair for those who have paid and for liability reasons.

All games will take place at Manitowoc FC Park in Manitowoc, 1902 Viebahn Street.
